About Us
Medequip is a medical solutions provider company conceived to provide customized comprehensive solutions to the myriad medical issues in Nigeria. Nigeria has a population of about 150 million and has the potential to be the dominant socio-political and financial center of Africa because of its vast population and petroleum and other resources. Medequip hopes to contribute to this by ensuring the delivery of the best health care to promote well being and productivity of the citizens.
Medequip was formed by two Nigerian-born medical doctors who are resident in the United States, and have over 40 years combined of medical practice and healthcare management experience in the United States and Britain. Medequip principal partners underwent medical school training in Nigeria, before going abroad for specialty training. Hence, they have in-depth knowledge of the medical practice and culture in Nigeria and in the western world. They are determined to bridge the gap between the state of medical care in Nigeria and the western world.
Medequip’s specialty is in assessment of existing medical facilities, and customizing solutions to optimize healthcare delivery to approach standards available in the Western World.
